‘Aquarius’ will be available for $19.99, but you’ll have to pay a steep price to unlock it
Aquarius, the new science fiction movie from “The Walking Dead” creator Robert Kirkman, has been rumored to be available on Vudu and iTunes for a very steep price.
According to a tweet from VudU, the film will cost $19, but the subscription service will also charge $9.99 for the “Aquarian” content, which is available for a limited time.
The $9,999.99 price tag will make it the highest-priced movie of the year so far.
VudUs CEO Jim Vardavas confirmed that the movie will be offered for a discounted price this week, so the first “Aqualians” users to pay the $9999.97 price tag won’t be able to buy the movie for that price.
“Aequarius” will be released in theaters on June 17, 2019, and will also be available via the Vudubes app.
The Vuduo-owned streaming service has made a name for itself in the past with films like “Hercules,” “The Hangover,” “Avengers: Infinity War” and “American Gods.”
Vudubs will also bring its own brand of content to the VUDU app, which includes TV shows, documentaries and even the animated series “The Legend of Korra.”
